Job title: Power Platform & AI Solutioning Architect

Location: Role can be worked from any of our Manchester, Leeds or Reading offices (Remote working available)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Focus of the role:

As a Power Platform & AI Solutioning Architect, you will be responsible for leading BCN’s approach to engaging with our clients and prospective clients, evangelising all things Power Platform, SharePoint, AI (low code) and associated technology stacks such as Azure cognitive services and Logic Apps. You will collaborate closely with other senior members of the BCN solutioning team where larger cross functional solutions are required as well as within the Business Solutions department on discrete technical products and solutions.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the Power Platform technology stack and has the experience in architecting and delivering complex, cross stack solutions and loves to stay at the cutting edge of the product portfolio. A team player who is passionate about technology, processes and people and wants to deliver real improvements to our clients in smart and effective ways. The successful candidate will have a desire to develop their skills and technological experience here at the BCN leading a growing and exciting technology team.

To achieve this, you will be accountable for the following:

  • Being client first, understanding a customer’s requirements and architecting solutions that our team will develop into secure, scalable, and reliable technical solution.
  • Lead architectural design sessions, develop proof of concepts/pilots, implement projects, and deliver ongoing refinement and enhancements for clients.
  • Passionate advocate of AI and generative content within and beyond the scope of Power Platform.
  • Being accountable for all Presales activities that the Productivity Solutions team engage with from client 1-2-1s and demos through to delivering at technical conferences.
  • Delivering solution documents that outline the clients’ requirements with clear deliverable architectures and effort estimations to deliver a successful outcome for the client.
  • Support the BCN definition and communication of the Power Platforms’ vision, roadmap and positioning within BCN.
  • Identification of client patterns and common requirements for potential BCN product development.
  • Ensure the quality of the delivered solutions adhere to best practice as well as meet the scoped solution architecture.

Job requirements

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Power Platform, SharePoint and Azure development and deployment.
  • Must hold an active Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Certification (PL-600)
  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform licencing, principles, practices, and tools, such as ALM, Environment Management, DevOps, Git, etc.
  • Passionate about creating innovative and impactful solutions for clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to the correct level for consumption.
  • Ability to be self-directed, flexible, and tactical.
